Communication training for school leaders
Running through the summer in preparation for the next academic year, our free training for school leaders covers parent communication and engagement, in the context of schools seeking agility during a period of uncertainty.

It is often mentioned in the academic research that there is a gap between the “rhetoric” and “practice” of school-parent communication (see for example Hornby 2011), whether it is described as parental involvement, engagement or something else. Many schools may lack the confidence, skills or insight that is widely available to global brands and large corporations. Just Add Parents aims to provide access to the theories and practice behind modern communication, to school leaders and those responsible for parent engagement.

A range of free training courses and resources is in development to support schools with parent communication during and after the period of disruption caused by the coronavirus health crisis.
